OUR IMPACT
LOV FY2022 Annual Report
Youth
Lights Out Volleyball provides introductory and high-level volleyball instruction to elementary and high school aged youth (grades 2-12) across Chicago and metro Chicagoland at affordable prices with financial aid and scholarship packages for those in-need.
Lights Out Volleyball also runs free clinics to serve underrepresented youth and their coaches. We are here to enhance the natural abilities in all to lead and excel.
We believe in the power of play, the importance of movement and the fun of competition.
Leaders
Lights Out Volleyball refers to our team as Leaders, because our youth need empathetic guides to lead them with LOV. Our staff is comprised of high-caliber athletes and coaches hand-selected for their social-emotional compassion, leadership skills, physical literacy training, and holistic approach to the sport of volleyball.
Lights Out Volleyball provides jobs to athletes returning from playing professionally overseas and locally, competing on the AVP and FIVB tours, and NCAA athletes in need of fiscal support to achieve their goals. We advocate for those often overlooked because of their heritage, race, gender, economic status or background.
Lights Out Volleyball is also comprised of a talented Rehabilitation Team. These Mentors have certifications in PT, DPT, CSCS, NSCA SafeSport and expertise in employing manual therapy techniques, such as Graston Technique, myofascial release, neuromuscular control and dynamic flexibility.
